People are ranting that there “requirements” to watch a TV show re: Money Heist, The Platform. Why not watch the show for entertainment daw. What’s the purpose of watching such shows if you do not learn the metaphors and learnings behind them? (1/n)
Money Heist is a ahow depicting a fight againt capitalism, fascism, and more. Yet, some people watch it because what? The heist? The thrill? No, girl. You watch it for the art. And art is about translating the imaginative abstract into concrete products. (2/n)
The Platform was about the inequality between social clusters and class. But let me guess, some people watch it because of how they will survive? THE PANNA COTTA IS THE MESSAGE! Yet, people don’t know what that meant. (3/n)
You’re just putting shame into all the people who put all their blood, swear, tears, and soul into these wonderful pieces of media yet you don’t know how that translates. Pity and shame. (4/4)

Okay. I’m not gatekeeping on people watching series. People watch series for fun? Go ahead. But when your political views are strongly the opposite of what the show is trying to deliver then it becomes an irony, right? You’re not really getting the message.
The reasonw hy tweeted this thread was because of another thread that says they are D/DS yet, they don’t get the message of Money Heist. It’s really ironic.
