//I& #39;m just gonna ramble for the sake of it. Fate/Apocrypha spoilers ahead.//

//I just like thinking that Mordred& #39;s time with Kairi left an impact on her. You could really say that Kairi was the first family Mordred got to have at the time// (1/2)
//why did i say 1/2//

//It just kinda felt like they accepted each other after a while. It really did feel like a parent/child relationship. They fought, bickered, and laughed together, and it just makes me happy seeing them whenever they& #39;re on screen//
//Whenever Mordred felt conflicted about anything, even for tiny things about whether or not she should have killed Astolfo& #39;s old Master, Kairi reassured her, that she was doing the right thing.//
//And for the few times Kairi did open his heart up to Mordred, Mordred reassured him. They supported each other whenever they could. And Kairi is a big reason Mordred can understand both Artoria and herself better.//
//He didn& #39;t just give Mordred the answer either. He just pushed her in the right direction, saying that she herself knew what she really wanted, but couldn& #39;t mentally accept that, and that he himself can relate. Which, this alone is top tier parenting imo//
//And the rest of their conversation before their confrontation with Semiramis is also golden, further cementing that they treated each other like family, and it& #39;s even more painful because if you& #39;re watching this from Netflix//
//You& #39;ve read the episode description and immediately realize that this is where they die. Making the first bit even more painful. Don& #39;t even get me started on that goddamn brofist as they begin to fight Semiramis//
//When the fight begins, and they realize they& #39;re trapped. Literally Kairi& #39;s first instinct when he realized what the fuck was going on was to use a Command Seal to get Mordred the fuck out of there.//
//All of Kairi& #39;s Command Seals have been used with Mordred in mind first and himself second. Whenever Mordred set out to do something or was ever in danger, he didn& #39;t hesitate to use this very important and scarce resource to help her. Again, wholesome.//
//When Mordred said that she didn& #39;t want the Grail, she just wanted to win, to defeat Semiramis, even at the cost of her life? Kairi didn& #39;t even think, he just went with it, knowing it would kill him.//
//And when Mordred does realize, when she understands her Father and their motives for becoming king, as well as understand her own wants. Kairi tells Mordred her that she would& #39;ve been a good king.//
//And Kairi& #39;s last words to Mordred, as well as his last words in this show, was him asking if Mordred had fun. His main concern throughout the war has always been Mordred.//
//I should try and top this off.//

//Fate/Apocrypha wasn& #39;t a perfect show, but i think it did Kairi and Mordred& #39;s relationship perfectly. It didn& #39;t feel like a Master and Servant, it felt like Parent and Child, and they stole the show when they are involved//
//And I love how it& #39;s even referenced in FGO. Mordred& #39;s Intuition becomes "Cigarette Lion", referencing the final smoke she had with Kairi, whose name means Lion.//

//If Kairi didn& #39;t have an impact on Mordred& #39;s life, then FGO isn& #39;t making millions of dollars every year.//
