In their insulting brush off to one member of the public who complained about Cliff Goodwin and Maria Stanley it was claimed the latter had been advised about her social media use.

To do what? Her response is still there. Still proudly proclaiming her membership of the CoP.
When I receive the same insulting brush off, be sure I will be pointing this out.

If Mr Goodwin and Ms Stanley wish to insult members of the public then it is reasonable to ask they don’t do so using their professional status - with all that this implies.
And if their professional body continues to be blind and deaf to the harm this does their own reputation then we shall have to continue to act to make sure some other agency of higher status takes notice.

This will not be confined to social media.
This tweet also remains
Just a selection of the many reactions - I can’t find a drop of ‘abuse’ or ‘trolling’ so far.
The airy dismissal of complaint by the CoP, their refusal to even acknowledge the wrong done, of course magnifies the seriousness of this.

The fact that neither Goodwin or Stanley have removed or apologised for these comments indicate that neither they nor the CoP understand.
Or worse. They understand very well. And this is a deliberate campaign to gas light and destabilise.

I do hope I am wrong about that.
