first i would just like to say, that i absolutely loved the book! it was really entertaining and i just couldn’t stop reading it. my favorite character was Yvaine! At first, she seemed very cold and wanted nothing to do with Tristran, but then she ended being a really nice—
person. i loved seeing her open up. For example, when she sang to Tristran, and told him she was grateful that she met him. i liked Tristran from the start of the book, but he was really foolish in how he wanted to get Victoria’s hand in marriage.
i felt so bad for Lady Una. She had her whole life taken away from her because of Madame Semele. She didn’t get to experience watching Tristran grow up. She was so happy when she regained her freedom, and when she was able to tell Tristran that she was his mom.
It is heartbreaking that Tristran died, but i think Yvaine is working as hard as she can to find peace. All in all, i was really happy with how the characters got their happy endings. All the evil that the evil characters put out in the world was returned to them.
Like how none of the evil brothers ended up being a Lord and how the evil witch did not end up getting her youth back. This book was beautifully written and i would definitely read again! #bryantsbookclub @BryantmKaylee
