ALLUSKIN PURIFYING CLEANSER

WHAT DOES IT CLAIM?
Alluskin Purifying Cleanser is tailormade with bioactive pH to help deep cleanse pores and gently removes make up and impurities on skin, leaving your skin fresh and clean.

The star ingredients are
Glycolic Acid (AHA): gently exfoliates to restore clarity and improve uneven textures
Witch Hazel: an astringent that offer balance of sebum production
Allantoin: aid in wound healing, promote soothing properties and many more

WHAT DOES IT CONTAIN?
Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide-DEA, Tea-lauryl Sulfate, Glycerin, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Sodium PCA, Glycolic Acid, Allantoin, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Cl 19140, Cl15985

COMMENTARY:

Before Alluskin, I used another #SapotLokal brand as cleanser that works fine. But I figured out my skin needed something.. more. So that was when @alluskinhq passed by my timeline. (Magic gitew)

I was skeptical of the ingredients - typically because it contained

Witch Hazel and Glycolic Acid. My skin is known to be very.. picky and stubborn, that it rejects almost any other products unless I tame it down. My skin rules me, not otherwise but I decided to shoot my shot with the travel size that they sold at RM24 for 30ml.

And so I tried it, tested it, and LOVED it! I like the fact that it does not feel stripping and drying off my skin, though my skin does not feel fairly hydrated after cleanse either but because it's a low pH cleanser, I expected it. It does its job as a facial cleanser,

and surprisingly the GA did not make me break out or irritated. The 5% of GA present in the cleanser convinced me to not buy any other chemical exfoliators throughout usage. Although AHAs that are present in cleansers are not as strong as standalone exfoliators,

this cleanser does help deeply cleansing my skin, and regulates my sebum production - given that I use the 60-second rule. So yes, it does what it claims!
Absence of fragrance, but a faint fresh smell is present which is not bothersome so this might be okay for sensitive skin.

A 100ml bottle lasted me for 3 months which is very cost-efficient, and its bottles are recyclable so this should not pollute the environment per se. I'm glad that this brand is environmentally conscious.

I'm trying to change the wind in my routine now so I'm on a "K" cleanser but I already missed Alluskin on my face, so you might get the idea of how this cleanser is *the* cleanser for my sensitive, acne prone, combination skin!

VERDICT: Definitely recommended, and will repurchase again

I would actually purchase this over Glow Recipe's Blueberry AHA cleanser
