This weekend, the people of the United Kingdom are presented with an option...

It's like a lever on a rail track, and there's an out of control train hurtling towards us...

The current position of the lever will see the train crash in sidings.

However, if UK citizens decide they need a quick break as reward for confining ourselves to our homes for less than two weeks, and hit the Lakes or seaside or Highlands, the lever will be pushed and the out of control train will be sent to crash in a crowded station.

We are faced with two options:

1) We stay inside, as instructed, sustaining our efforts to slow the spread of #Covid19, saving countless lives?

2) We ignore every warning and head to the sea for some fresh air and peace, along with hundreds of thousands of others?

Here's what I think...

If you break self-isolation for a weekend getaway, you are DELIBERATELY choosing a course of action that will lead to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, when you crush the #NHS with your selfishness.

You should be charged accordingly.

Today and tomorrow, we citizens of the United Kingdom (and I'm proud to be part of this greater togetherness we've found in each other during this global emergency) have a choice:

#ChooseLife

or

#ChooseDeath

Please...

… choose carefully.
