also this was from a while ago where i wrote a whole thread about translators misdirecting translations and putting it to go according to their own biases. i tweeted it because at that time there was a certain translator of a certain fandom who was

1) not accurate in their tls
2) misinforming audience about the context of something because they wanted it interpreted a certain way which ended up being not how the actual thing was at all

and it was rly frustrating to know they were like that after i got the real context

anyway i ended up using enstars as an example in this thread but i wanted to highlight how readers will take certain things out of context too and just bash on without actually getting the whole story, causing misunderstandings throughout the fandom as they spread it on.

now that i am a year older (i think, i dont remember when i had that thread) and just 1% wiser (i think, im still a well-rounded dummy) , i realized how my own thread could have caused misunderstandings and hurt people who tled for enstars because of how messy i worded them

and for that i am so terribly sorry because that really wasnt the aim of my thread. while its true that there are some enstars tls who are... fishy as fuck.. most have been very reliable (during the time of the thread). and i am also sorry it took me a whole year (?) to say sorry

for causing misunderstandings. if you read the thread and remember it, and at that time felt like i was pinpointing bad enstars tl, please know that it rly wasnt about that at all. im so so sorry if it did hurt anyone.

and its also a lil ironic to me that i would put out a tweet about giving false info and making people misunderstand, while causing misunderstandings myself.

this thread may have been completely unnecessary but i have time rn, and i have some guilt feelings that came up just now when i remembered about it. now we will proceed to usual shitposting
