Saw comments by value investors that they are sure their "good" companies will survive .

A small history lesson for them https://twitter.com/InvesysCapital/status/1246273910363967488
In the 1920s, there were quite a few companies listed on the NYSE who made whips for horse drawn carriages. A few among them were zero debt, strong ethical mgmt and market leaders. In the next 10years , all shut business. Why ?
Because the advent of automobiles ( Ford Model T) totally killed the markets for horse drawn carriages . This was a paradigm shift. The strength of the company did not matter
This corona pandemic( unless a vaccine/cure is found) I believe will fundamentally alter the world we live in ways we cannot fathom as of now .
So which company will survive is almost impossible to predict now .
