Dear @PMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah @nsitharaman As & when we get out of this mess the Government should take a serious look at how it earns, runs & administers country. Review all existing welfare schemes (100+). In my view there should be review of Agri, Edu, Health sectors
Agri sector policies and schemes have to be revisited. I said it earlier too many times in the last 6 years that all small farmers with individual/family holdings of 5 hectares should be mandatorily made members of cooperatives at taluk level. Around 5650 taluks in the country.
Even landless labourers in each taluk should be made members of these cooperatives. Each cooperative should own & run their own storage warehouses & Agri processing industries in that taluk. All agri raw materials procurements, loans etc should be dealt with by cooperatives only.
Every cooperative should employ qualified agri field officers (strength depends on blocks in each taluk) and they should also have soil testing centers. Agri officers will guide cooperatives of the types of crops they should grow or not grow depending on weather, soil etc.
Cooperatives should hold buffer stocks of yield, processed produce at least 15-20% at any point in time which will come in handy during tough times. Landless labourer members should be given salaries & agri produce in kind too. All govt funds should be routed through cooperatives
