CZ My 17yo is wonderfully skeptical over nearly everything, but remains stunningly accepting of TV news, and doesn't understand why I become apoplectic when it's on. He thinks I'm nuts; I tell him they are NOT to be trusted. On anything. Anything.

CZ ABC World News Tonight showed today a line graph of COVID deaths, showing that smaller countries have plateaued, as has China. US was still climbing... suggesting our measures our not working. This is wrong. China is lying. Smaller countries have smaller populations...

CZ This graph was immediately followed by a map of the US, showing how many states have yet to declare stay-at-home orders. Implication: this was the cause of our continually climbing death rate.

Utterly irresponsible and shitty journalism. But they knew what they were doing.

CZ This only serves to discredit the White House, and make China look good. It's okay to discredit the WH if your facts are good; it's not okay to make China look competent when they're clearly lying. The only explanation for both: ABC World News is following their orders.

CZ It doesn't matter who gave those orders. What matters is they are proven to be deceitful. Not to be trusted.
