Folx, we've given up on the unemployment website. We have moved on to the "RAPaperApplication," the paper application. Some early observations:

The information requested on the paper application is different than what was on the website. For instance, the paper app asks for height and weight, and the website did not. I'm unclear why the @FLDEO needs to know this info.

For the record, my husband is the same weight as he was when he was in the Italian army 30 years ago. Here's a photo of him with our dog.

The paper app doesn't ask about independent contractor status. A feature of the CARES Act makes unemployment benefits available to independent contractors, gig workers, freelance workers, the self-employed, and others who don't ordinarily qualify for unemployment insurance.
