Where have we seen this language before?? https://twitter.com/NorbertElekes/status/1246244066930708481
Oh yeah... https://twitter.com/Austen/status/1245689629178650624
I could steelman this use of “no evidence”, and I won’t.

This use is actively misleading. Instead of quoting two different experts and making a facile point about risk compensation, why not *walk through* the evidence?

The article is net confusing.

Omg I can’t even.

A different uncertain situation, but in this case the line isn’t “no evidence”, it’s “all available evidence”.

Trevor gets it!

“There is some evidence, but it's far from conclusive.”

Wait, that makes even less sense than “no evidence”.
