Ricky Seals-Jones is a long athletic receiving tight end and could be a mismatch ninth mare for the Chiefs. He gets good separation off the ball, and his ability to use his size and length to go up for the contested pass. He has a wide catch radius. @ArrowheadLive
Lined up in the slot here he opens wide up on his post route. He comes up just short of scoring but does a good job to make the grab and hold on. Shows good strength through the catch.
Comes open in front of the defense with his curl in front of the D and shows some speed to turn it up in the open field. Makes a tight plant and works the angle for the extra yards.
He is somewhat inconsistent as a run blocker. In his time in Arizona and Cleveland he has not spent much time blocking for the run and has been on the backside mostly. He is mostly a hinge and turn blocker.
Top of the screen again he will be a good mismatch in the passing game especially with the Chief's current group of pass-catchers. Makes a nice catch on the sideline to bring his feet down in bounds.
Even his 2 point stance doesn't look quite natural. He has a lot of weight forward. He shows good effort but at the end of the day, he will be more of a mismatch in the passing game and a tool for Any Reid to use to get open.
