imagine going “ew calarts” over an art style that isn’t even associated with calarts instead of going “ew calarts” over the fact that Calarts has a near monopoly on the animation industry where if you don’t go to Calarts it’s way harder for you to get a job in animation.

Doesn’t help that Calarts is incredibly expensive to where you’d either need to be fucking rich to pay for it or you’d have to pay off your student loans till you’re in the fucking ground.
