Sir, @PhilipObin during my #NYSC service year I embarked on 4 personal community development service projects (CDS) which only found a space on https://www.nairaland.com/4042567/nysc-personal-cds-projects-successful (written by me)
after that, I have guided hundreds of youth corps members who embarked on CDS projects...

in their host community without them being noticed. The best some of them got was a State Honours Award from @officialnyscng but the award was no different from ordinary paper because long after service I contact some of them and find out they are still jobless and few of them..

volunteer their services with NGOs. A lot of them (including me of course) used their personal funds which is against NYSC rule "but we got to what we got to do" to impact lives. Some of us are lucky to be noticed by some NGOs who come for the rescue while some other abandoned..

the projects halfway due to paucity of funds because all financial appeal written to their local governments for assistance ended in the trash can. Sir I know the @officialnyscng, @NGRPresident and state government can do something positive with these exceptional corps members..

who have contributed their little to nation building but maybe only if they find a space in national dailies like our billionaire donors and our politicians who carry out massive projects with the 'peoples money' Sir, forget about me, I want something to be done for my mentees
