Ever had a chelada?

I was thinking about them this week. Basically a beer with a margarita prep. Lime/lime juice and ring of salt.

Someday, when this is over, I’m going to go somewhere hot and drink cheladas by a pool.
While I’m on beer drinks, ever had a beermosa?

It sounds disgusting but use a pale lager like Red Stripe and its the perfect beverage for an early tailgate.

1) You’re drinking a beer
2) You’re warding off scurvy

Win-win.
Re: cheladas, I should note that while the chelada is just beer, salt, lime there is also the ‘michelada’ which is sort of a Mexican beer-bloody mary hybrid.

Recipes vary but tomato juice is typical along some seasonings.

Both are delicious.
