andrew is a 5& #39;0" goalkeeper for the palmetto state university& #39;s foxes. he is from the book series "all for the game", which is more referred to as "the foxhole court" / tfc by the fandom. the series was self-published by @norasakavic in 2013.
he is in the "side group" named as the monsters by the rest of the team because of how split they are in the beginning. he& #39;s basically seen as the leader because of how everyone listens to him, and does everything he says. he& #39;s very violent, blunt, straight to the point.
the monsters are made up of kevin day, nicky hemmick, aaron minyard, and later in the series, neil josten. he& #39;s made somewhat of a deal with all of them; to keep them safe. to give reasons. give and take. deals are very important to him and he ALWAYS keeps his promises.
he is not forgiving at all. he doesn& #39;t really...hold grudges per se...it& #39;s just more like he won& #39;t forget and there& #39;s nothing that can necessarily make up for what was done. especially if it was something important to him.
promises are important to him. he keeps his word, and when someone tries to say something otherwise of him, that& #39;ll get you on his bad side. promises are his way of life.
he& #39;s had a very traumatic past that i resonate deeply to...but he heals from it. he seeks regular therapy for it, and let go of unhealthy coping mechanisms that he used to have. it& #39;s hard to just stop doing what he did, so it shows so much of the pure strength that he holds.
he has MANY flaws that i would never try to defend...he& #39;s done things that, if he were real then i would very much not like him tbh...but learning why he& #39;s the way he is is what made me learn to love him. in the beginning he is...not very likable (though i still liked him anyway)
but when you see why he does things, and how he does it, you understand. and after years i still don& #39;t like some things he& #39;s done! but i still love him very much. i adore him dearly. his past is what made him who he is and the important thing is that he grows from it and learns.
he learns how to connect with people later in life and to accept them and the way things are. it& #39;s hard considering everything. but he still makes it work.
andrew is a protector and understands people to their deepest darkest core. he doesn& #39;t judge. he understands and sees people for the way they are. that& #39;s it, no in between. he& #39;s made promises to protect those he loves the most from danger
he loves his family! everyone sees him as this violent monster when there& #39;s so much more inside his heart; he cares so much and probably too much and no one realizes that until neil comes in and pushes down his walls
he really just...doesn& #39;t let it get to him though. he doesn& #39;t care what others think of him. he does what he does to be a better version of himself and keeps protecting his family and thats all that matters

andrew& #39;s healing is not the way that everyone else in the fandom wishes for so much but he is a very complex person with very complex trauma and it takes a lot of time. and andrew is not pure sunshine but he is the light at the end of the tunnel.
he& #39;s a grouchy old man who loves neil and sweets and his family and his cats and night drives and the stars...he is more than his trauma...he is so much more than what it made him to be
andrew& #39;s dislike of people is not gender-specific and it confuses me when the fandom says so. it& #39;s more like my hatred of men because of my trauma. there are reasons for it. andrew is not the type to dislike anyone just because. there are reasons to everything for him
andrew just Does Not Care...it& #39;s simple. he just breathes his way through life only to protect his family and if you get in the way of that then he will not like you, obviously. it& #39;s simple as that
on this topic, his friendship with renee and bee are very pure and probably something he& #39;s never had before. it& #39;s heartwarming to think of. look at the
THIS IS GETTING LONG...I& #39;M JUST GONNA FINISH THIS OFF AND SAY...andrew has come a long way which is extremely important to me and my healing process because i& #39;ve looked up to him for years and even grew up with him! i read the books in april 2016, when i was only 16. and now
i turn 21 in 3 months. i& #39;ve come a very long way with him and he will always be the most important character to me, no matter how long i go without talking about him. this thread was very messy and unorganized so i apologize but i am just an andrew lovemail i love him so much
