The Oxford Police Department is proud to announce 2 arrests have been made in connection with several auto burglaries that recently occurred on Old Taylor Road. At this time the Criminal Investigation Division has recovered several items but believe more victims exist.
We ask that citizens continue to lock their vehicles at night and if you are currently missing items from the Old Taylor Road area please contact the police department to file a report. One of the items missing is a Remington 12 Gauge Shotgun.
We have information to believe the firearm was sold after it was stolen.A photo of the shotgun is included and if you have recently purchased this shotgun you can contact OPD. No charges will be filed against the individual that purchased the stolen firearm.
Investigators also have active arrest warrants for a third individual, Dalton Patterson, who is involved with these crimes. If anyone knows of his location, they can contact the Oxford Police Department at 662-232-2400 or Lafayette County Crime Stoppers at 662-232-8477.
