✨SKINCARE THREAD!✨ *I’m not a dermatologist* but I’ve seen MANY and experimented w/ so many things, I’ll share what I use/recommend for anyone it could help. Everyone’s skin is DIFFERENT what works for me may not work for u. I’ll go over basics/acne/texture/hyperpigmentation 💜
Also s/o to @areynarivarola for telling me to make this a thread, been meaning to for a while and now I suddenly have the time during quarantine!
1. Ok so BASICS. Especially if you are just starting, skincare journey 101 is you should AT THE LEAST be using a basic moisturizer and SPF for your face DAILY. Yes, even on cloudy days. UV rays don’t give af about clouds, or curtains, and you need to protect your skin from UV.
EVERY dermatologist I have seen recommended that any skincare product I use does not need to be fancy, expensive, or full of ingredients you can’t pronounce. Simpler the better. For SPF I look for something 50+. I LOVE CeraVe products, they are very good for my sensitive skin
