Executes a really nice combo block here to create a nice rushing lane.
On this pass set against Josh Uche, Whirfs deflects the swipe move and then resets his hands for another counter move.
Whirfs really struggled to anchor down against Josh Uche's bull rush.
Again, Uche is able to drive Whirfs all the way back. Whirfs allows Uche to get hands on the inside and has his pad level high, giving Uche all of the leverage advantage.
However, Whirfs would get back at Uche. I love how Whirfs recovers from the initial burst and finishes Uche to the ground.
I really like the initial contact and push that Whirfs makes on #7. However, Whirfs struggles with latching on and sustaining his blocks. This allows #7 to ultimately make a tackle on the ball carrier.
