I spoke to a person earlier this week who thought I was in New York and asked me - “are the hospitals really full there? I saw on TV they weren’t.”

So, we have two family members in NYC hospitals. It is absolutely a mess. The doctors are at the end of their ropes and 1/

They’re almost out of equipment. Please do not believe anyone who tells you otherwise.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but seriously. It’s a nightmare up there. We need to stop it if we can.

I also spoke to someone who implied that being put on a ventilator is not a big deal. OK, just google what they do and the consequences and come back and say that.

I've started just being very blunt now because folks are apparently not getting this through their heads.

I genuinely think some large number of people do not know that a ventilator is a *really* invasive and horrible thing to be on. So if you don't know that, now you do.
