Wrestlers need to unionize.

Imagine being the match that goes on at fucking FOUR IN THE MORNING.

I swear, every time something new is revealed about WrestleMania it just climbs further up on the list of least ethical things the company has ever done.

Imagine working for a billion dollar entertainment company and you’ve achieved your dream of wrestling on the biggest show of the year, but it’s pre-taped, in an empty Orange Theory Fitness, and you have to wrestle at 4am after the place has been fogged for coronavirus.

This is so fucking insane. The biggest show of the year, this Hail Mary audible of a show, and it’s being taped from 11pm-5am? Not even on a separate day?? How tense and miserable is that locker room after temp checks and whatever the pre-tape instructions are?

I cannot comprehend this. I hope every match is sluggish and tepid and safe as fuck. It’s a glorified house show, except everybody there might contract a deadly virus. Should have busted out the deadly game skull for the branding once Tampa wasn’t feasible.

Wrestlers have needed to unionize for longer than I’ve been alive and if it doesn’t happen now I am afraid it never will.
