unlearning purity culture, especially for people who grew up in very christian homes - is a forever thing.
as in forever and ever.
you first have to release your worth from the the purity itself.

and how the church literally says, "this is the highest thing a woman can be, pure and untouched"
even language plays a part.
how you refer to sexual acts.
how you feel after sex.
how you describe it.
how you feel when people speak about it in conversations.
don't qoute me.
but I feel that purity culture is also heavily to blame for how women blame themselves when they are raped or sexually assaulted.
nothing good comes out of a. culture that teaches you that you are safe gaurding your private parts and pleasure for a man who will then basically have your agency in his hands cause you are "married"
