Congratulations to Coach Sutton & the Sutton family. This is a very joyous occasion. Former players offer a true indication as to the character of a coach. The comments I’ve heard over the years from Coach Sutton’s players reveal a heartfelt respect for him. It’s very genuine.

On a personal note, I witnessed so many random acts of kindness from him. So many of those gestures were offered toward people who were just common folks around Oklahoma.

When you have the respect and admiration of US Presidents as well as custodians, Hollywood stars as well as gas station attendants, US Senators as well as arena ushers, you’ve done very well. All of us, across many walks of life, are excited to celebrate this wonderful honor
