Like many who cannot get tested, I cannot say for certain whether I have #COVID19. I was told I qualified for a test, but when I got to the testing center, they told me there was no point since the treatment was to go home and self-quarantine for 14 days either way.
That was March 25th, and I haven’t gone anywhere since. I was feeling better until I took a turn for the worse about two days ago, which I hear is typical of this. I suddenly had absolutely no energy for anything, not even eating.
Now comes the point of this thread: rest means rest. No watching shows. No yakking. No working from home. No Zoom. You just lie there. I’ve been lucky and haven’t had a cough. After two days of doing absolutely NOTHING, I feel better.
That’s the moral of the story. Rest means rest. Have your thoughts. Go in and out of sleep. After awhile, it gets amazing as your thoughts get very deep, and your body can put all its energy into fighting this.
When I’m done, I will have immunities to make me even stronger for the work ahead. If you’re not feeling well, rest. Your body has much more important things to do. #rest
