anyway i’m gonna complain on main for a second: i’m still working full-time and struggle with depression, anxiety, and ptsd. if one more person posts about how everyone should be more productive and knowledgeable during this time, i will go off
i understand that some people are coping with social distancing by picking up new hobbies, skills, etc, and i’m for it! live your best life! but don’t shame people that can’t do the same thing
i’m not the only one of my friends suffering or struggling. being placed so far away from others can be absolutely debilitating for some. express kindness. you can encourage people positively without blaming struggling people for their “lack of discipline”
i still work 40 hour weeks, and being home doesn’t make this less stressful or shitty, because i have more tasks than when i did before everything has been shut down
