Idk how friendships work exactly but like I'm my own person no matter what and I don't have to agree with all of ur opinions or support everything you do and say
Just like how I sometimes will not be able to understand where you're coming from at all
For me being friends means feeling safe with someone and being able to freely express your own opinion and thoughts without being scared of it causing issues. We won't always agree but we're not the same people, why would we? As long as those difference are handle maturely.
BUT if I express that one of your actions or something you did made me uncomfortable or feel unsafe I also hope that's something that can be discussed in a mature way without you making me feel guilty for expressing that.
Idk I've been friends with some people who would make me feel guilty for saying that something made me uncomfortable and would make it all about themselves and it's kinda fucked me up
Like I was taught that friendships are all about supporting each other no matter what n all but then I saw friends who suddenly had different opinions and were still friends?? And I was like woow I can have my own opinions? And say what I think?? Why did nobody tell me this??
But then it turned out that you can't always express your own opinion and some people will get mad and you have to do it in the right moment and with the right words and it's so much?? If those people were still friends then did why it cause a fight for us??
Why can't I just state my opinion and move on?? Why does it have to become a discussion? But then other times it's fine?? And don't even get me started on social cues and emotions because those are whole other things that I'm not even halfway done with figuring out.
Yes being autistic is basically like being an alien/robot trying to learn about the human race.
There are a lot of questions.
It is very confusing.
Can humans please be less complicated.
Also it's autism awareness month so please be considerate of us and learn something about autism!

And don't support autism speaks. Ever.
