Bear with me in this thread but I'd appreciate your thoughts.

I've picked up on the fact that #Trump & Pence are intentionally pretending that no force is being used on the public during the COVID-19 response. It's a lie.

1)
They are fully aware that states, the CDC, and communities are forcing people into isolation, forcing businesses to close, and forcing things like wearing masks in public. These aren't recommendations or guidelines; force is being used.

2)
In some places Law Enforcement is encouraging people to rat on one another. In Kentucky (a red state) ankle bracelets are being placed on people who don't comply.

3)
We are giving up the Bill of Rights & our independence and if you think we'll get them back when this is "over" you really need to study American history, especially the early 1900s.

4)
I also have a feeling that the National Guard is under a secondary preparedness order to quell any uprising by the American people as our rights are stripped away.

5)
Do I believe #COVID2019 is serious? Heck yes. Follow medical and scientific guidelines, but should we be so quick to surrender our freedoms and principles in the name of security? Hell no.

6)
Something else I've noticed from the #TrumpPressBriefing on COVID-19... every speaker/government official gives not only borderline worship to the President but continually credits him with every plan or idea that they put out, including the VP, Surgeon General, etc.

7)
I don't know anyone who wants to hear that #PresidentTrump is the one who says we should wear cloth masks in public, even his supporters.

Whether he's doing well or not in your opinion, do you see the problem with giving a President so much power?

8)
This is how George W. Bush was allowed to destroy the right to privacy through Homeland Security and the PATRIOT Act.

It's how FDR was allowed to round up Japanese Americans and force them into internment camps.

We never get back our rights without a serious fight.

9)
Thanks to the epidemic of the flu & the Great Depression in the early 1900s we allowed the Federal Government to create a welfare system and infrastructure spending that were supposed to be temporary solutions. We allowed them to be made permanent. What will 2025 look like?

10)
Rights we seem to be surrendering during #COVID19Pandemic:

Freedom of Assembly
Right to Bear Arms & Organize
Right to Privacy
Property Rights
Free Trade
Right to Self-Reliance
Religious Liberty
Right to Offer Charity & Provide Care
Right to Due Process
Free Speech
