Texas's response defending its temporary ban on abortion amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Lots of the same, but a few things to point out:

- Texas argues that there is no Supreme Court precedent that would prohibit the state from banning -- or as Texas says, delaying -- abortion services.

The filing argues that Supreme Court precedent does not cover how to handle a global pandemic.

- Texas also argues that the coalition of abortion rights groups that brought this lawsuit doesn't have standing.

In other words, clinics aren't allowed to legally challenge state laws on behalf of their patients.
