If you don’t like the idea of aging characters that’s okay. Just block me, but blocking me and making passive aggressive posts about me isn’t going to change my opinion on the matter.

Aside from my previously stated argument regarding the disconnect that should exist between fiction and reality (i.e. Game of thrones, Horror movies, TV Drama’s, Video games,etc) I see a lot of People say you have to change the design of a character to make them look older

For it to be acceptable but I personally think as a 26 year old I look my age. I know that’s opinionated, But If the costume concept is truly the main issue why are sexy school girl outfits okay?

Another argument I see is that I have no character development for these character but I’ve done multiple series where these characters grow together and even get married. What exactly is necessary to depict character growth?

Basically, I just don’t believe it’s healthy to be unable to separate fiction from reality because if you can’t conceptualize a character growing up then I’m highly concerned about what the effects of crime dramas and FPS games will have on your psychological stability.

I’m open minded though! So please put some other points below on your side of this (if it’s against mine or not) I’d like to have a reasonable debate so we both get our viewpoints on the table!
