One thing Corbyn's time as Labour leader did is make it clear to me which people were serious about wanting a genuinely better society, and which people were just casual liberals who would throw the rest of us under the bus at the slightest bit of resistance
That's not to say Corbyn was perfect or that supporting him made you necessarily a good person, just that you could tell from the way people talked about Corbyn which side they would ultimately be on when it really came down to it
I certainly had criticisms of the man, but he was genuinely trying to make things better, and the people who seemed to take a sense of glee in criticising him every day, sneering at his supporters who'd finally been given a tiny bit of hope, those are not my people
I gave a lot of people a pass for being critical of him 2015-17, but I will never understand people who claimed to truly want a Labour government but didn't get behind him after the 2017 result
Basically, I agree with some of the criticisms of Corbyn, but there's criticisms and then there's dunks, and the liberals who just kept *dunking* on him? Fuck 'em
