Sadly, I feel my friend @shane87654 may be right...even if the scale of what his choice of image suggests may be an exaggeration.

There will be fools, boors, grotesquely selfish fiends who will travel, ignore social distancing guidelines and more just because. https://twitter.com/shane87654/status/1246183700594864128
That will, I am afraid, lead to further restrictions on our liberties and, potentially, to a further strain on health services.

Nobody cares what I think of course, and why should they, but I beg people to stay at home. It's difficult of course...maybe more than difficult.
Perhaps they have heard the dissenting voices who suggest that the government response has been too draconian, that some lives are always going to be lost, that the cost is too great...those arguments could be correct but it seems to me a risk too great if they are not.
A sacrifice today will lead to the end of such sacrifices arriving much sooner and then we can look back on all of this, shed a tear, mourn the loss of time, grieve for those who have been lost and, maybe, start to look at how we can learn from it all.
As for me, I have a list of people I want to be in a room with again, people I want to hold, people I want to tell in person how much I love them and how much I have missed their presence. That is what keeps me inside, what stops me from giving in to the selfish drives...
Ah, what a waste of time this thread has been.

A man howling into the nothing of Twitter.

A performance for an audience of none.

This might even be that most awful of things; an attempt to highlight my own virtue for likes. I don't think so. I hope not. I hope its sincere.
