While I'm still in a peppery mood, let me just casually remind y'all again that CR once again had some harmful ableist content this week with their ad roll for new content they are making and I don't want that swept under the rug either.

We can talk about more than one problem in the TTRPG community at a time, because there are fucking many and they're usually all rooted in the same things:

- (white) privilege
- (oppressive) language
- parasocial relationships
- protecting missing/broken stairs
- racism

- sexism / misogyny
- ableism
- victim blaming / shaming
- homo/queer/transphobia

The list of shit I just made in two tweets is non-exhaustive, there's also other things to consider like

- crediting your fucking artists
- paying people what they're fucking worth, etc.

to include. But something has got to give in this community and I know times are rough.

But we cannot expect people to change when we stick our heads in the sand and just wish for puppies and rainbows and kittens that fart glitter sparkles straight from their colons into our eyeballs in one giant kalidescopic puff of air.

Doing that is complacency.

Doing that allows people like CR who think making fun of people is a great way to conduct their BUSINESS.

We don't like it when Trump makes fun of people, why the fuck do we let CR get away with it?

Ignoring discussions on how we should and could be running safe games for everyone at the table allows fuckweasel Game Masters like Koebel to abuse the power dynamic they have at the table and hurt people, who only apologize because they got caught doing terrible things.

All this shit is un-fucking-acceptable, full stop.

Hurting others is un-fucking-acceptable.

This community swears left right and center that it cares about people. And the longer I'm here, it shows me that people really don't care, so long as they get theirs and they aren't

on the receiving end of The Hurt.

Like... really y'all? This is how you want to conduct relationships in the TTRPG community?

That's what you want to spend your time on? Ignoring problems? And not solving them?

People always want to pop off about how they're good people but you always find out when they're in the thick of something where they really stand and it should be a fucking sobering thought when they show their colors.

Just like we should be wary when a person says they're an ally, we got to be wary when people say "I'm a good person."

Or, you know, in the case of Koebel (in case you fucking missed his cretinous, insidious giggles on the Far Verona clip and that wasn't enough to clue you in),

where he puts in writing today that he is a garbage fucking person.

I'll say it once, I'll say it again, I'll say it until the last breath of air leaves my rickety-crickety husk of a body:

I do not. tolerate. abusers.
I do not. sympathize. with. abusers.

Fuck CR.
Fuck Koebel.
Fuck people who hurt others.

Stop protecting abusers. Stop making space for their piss-poor excuses of treating others like shit. Stop victim shaming and victim blaming. Believe people who come forward about harmful shit.

If you're not mad, you're not paying attention.

I don't expect people to be able to do what I do and talk about discourse a lot, but I highly encourage you to do it when you can/when you are able.

1. Doing it raises awareness, as now people can see it coming from multiple sources.

2. Your experiences in this community are valid and provides examples / context to why it certain behaviors aren't okay. For instance, I do my best to stick in my Lane: (see next tweet)

My Lane is an able-bodied, white as a jar of mayo, sexual assault survivor, bisexual femme in a marriage that presents as hetero who also has high functioning social anxiety and high functioning depression.

Those are the things I can speak to. Those are my experiences.

3. Don't fucking talk over folx who have different experiences than you when they're speaking about stuff you don't have experience in. You can ask questions; don't 'well actually'
