I dont know @heilune personally BUT i literally JUST finished a sociology project YESTERDAY that was completely about how woman get treated when they come forward and report an instance of sexual assault/harassment/rape against men who possess lots of social power ! (Cont.)
It ALWAYS becomes this battle of “she just wants to ruin his career” or “she just wants attention and clout”. I can assure you that the statistics regarding false rape claims are FARRRR smaller than the amount of women who ARE raped. You guys really love to victim blame so much.
It’s so transparent how little respect people have for survivors of this type of sexual violence ! You guys only support victims when it is convient to you and you refuse to see the real problem: THE ONE WHO RAPED HER
Why is it that when it comes to holding men accountable for their actions, women are simply “ruining their lives”. Can i provide a reminder of the TRAUMA that comes with being raped? How absolutely HORRIBLE it feels to be a victim of rape and having to live with that fact.
Im disgusted and im pissed. The pattern of blaming women for SPEAKING UP about their sexual assaults is disgusting. It’s creating an environment where women feel too scared and even unsafe to come forward, and if you contribute to that culture i dont know how you sleep at night.
@heilune keep advocating for yourself, because you’ve definitely got people in your corner. Using your platform to speak up - even despite the hate - has the ability to inspire who knows how many other people to come forward and stand up for themselves too. 💖
