Dr. Raul Pino says if we continue at the same case expansion rate, we could hit 1,000 cases by next Friday.

Two other people who died were women who were over 80 years old, in an assisted living facility. "They both died in a clinical setting," says Pino
"The assisted Living Facility is of high interest to us. We all read what happened in Washington State. We don't want that to repeat here"
Dr. Pino says the facility was inspected by the health department and there was nothing wrong with it.

Jenkins says there are plans to distribute laptops to kids who do not have them
$85,000 has been donated to help families in need- gift cards for families who need groceries, hotspots for those who don't have internet access

How many people have recovered? Dr. Pino says it's hard to get an exact number on that.
Mayor Demings says Orange County is only getting a fraction of the supplies it's requesting from the state-- 14% so far. Demings said he was on a conference call with mayors of major counties this afternoon
"None of us are getting the high percentage of the mission requests that were submitted to the state. That includes requests for personal protective equipment, for hand sanitizers, collection kits, testing kits "
Demings talking about how to deal with med surge: "Maybe we need a MASH type unit here within the region that we will divert people to"
Demings sounds quite disappointed to put the penny sales tax on hold "I've been working on this for a year"
Demings says it's not possible to get it on the ballot per the statutory deadlines set by State of Florida
But- he says there still needs to be something done to solve Central Florida's transpo problems
He acknowledges the chances of it passing this November if it were to make it onto the ballot are not great, given people are going to be hurting economically
