For those of you are finding writing difficult at the moment, whether for psychological or logistical reasons, a few pieces of advice which you are free to ignore. (1/5) #CampNaNoAdvice
First of all, you are not obligated to respond to a crisis in any particular way, and there is no correct way to do so. If writing would be a source of stress for you, you don’t need to ignore that. Your stories will be waiting when you’re ready for them. #CampNaNoAdvice (2/5)
If you would like to write but lack time, reframe what it looks like. The minimum word count goal you can set for Camp is 30 words. Writing a single word about how each day feels could create a hugely meaningful 30 words at the end of the month. #CampNaNoAdvice (3/5)
Even just setting a goal to journal every day for five minutes could give you a really valuable creative outlet, even if that five minutes is hiding in the bathroom writing a note on your phone. #CampNaNoAdvice (4/5)
But above all else, it’s important to remember that the priority should be what’s going to improve your overall well-being, both creatively and mentally. If that doesn’t look like what you’d planned for, that’s okay too. #CampNaNoAdvice (5/5)
