SURGICAL INTENSIVISTS ARE INTENSIVISTS.

We do a one to two year long fellowship. We complete a formal board certification and are DUAL BOARDED in general surgery and critical care. We routinely take care of AKI, ARF, sepsis,

pneumonia, ARDS, heart failure, arrhythmias. But go ahead and add onto that that we place all kinds of lines without assistance, pigtails and chest tubes, trachs, and we can address any procedural or surgical needs the patient has.
