I know some leftists hate John Oliver, but he's a pencil-necked petty bitch who lives for drama yet couldn't take a punch literally to save his own life and at some point the raw fury so many leftists feel towards him is just displaced self-loathing.

For the record, I like him.

He seems like a nice guy and I think his show serves a highly specific public service in terms of introducing basic critiques of society to people who would otherwise never encounter those critiques.

And I, too, am a petty bitch who lives for drama.
