I know I've been a very vocal fangirl for @futuremanonhulu, and there's a reason for that. Lots of reasons, actually. To celebrate the final season dropping today, I'm going to share those reasons.
1) The writing.
This show has dialogue that feels genuine and real despite its ludicrous setting, and the character development is excellent. I'm deeply attached to the three main characters and want them to succeed and be happy.

3) The heart.
FUTURE MAN is filthy. It's dark and it's crass and it's all kinds of fucked up. But at its core is a warm, beating heart. The show encourages empathy and kindness and explores complicated ethical quandaries in refreshing and hilarious ways.

4) homoerotic volleyball montage
5) Pop-culture self-awareness.
Time travel stuff is wacky. It's confusing and it's easy to get bogged down in the minutiae of how time travel rules work. FUTURE MAN not only gets this, it riffs on how other media has portrayed it.

6) It's funny.
It's really, really fucking funny.
