why i think were getting an anne with an e renewal in april or may: a thread

reason one:
this reason is small and a little insignificant, but it's still a reason so i'm gonna include it. when amybeth cut her hair, i thought she might go back to her natural colour or at least dye it again. but instead she kept the red. that gives me a little hoping [1/2]

that she's still holding out for s4 of awae and for anne. [2/2]

reason two:
we all know that we kinda died out of mid-january and a lot of people stopped fighting, but before then we were thriving. we were getting notices for ryan reynolds, we made 2+ billboards, and moria was liking renewal comments on her ig. once we died down a little[1/4]

february and march came and went without too much for anne nation. But then in the end of march, moria suddenly started to become more active with renewal comments again. [3/4]

she even replied to a fan begging for a renewal saying, "It's not up to me. But I'm so glad you love the show passionately. Me too! "
moria clearly still has a vison for the future of anne, she just can't act on it because unfortunately that's not what her job is. [4/4]

reason three:
as many have noticed, anne with an e is is becoming a more mainstream show now. i've personally seen it grouped in with shows like end of the fucking world and stranger things. in a fandom awards ceremony, we are up aganist once upon a time, [1/4]

which is quite possibly one of the largest fanbases. the amazing part is that we're winning too!
however, this is not my entire point. [2/4]

while magazines, websites, and other news sources have been promoting awae in articles for months, just recently it got in an article for vogue. this amount of publicity while inspire more people to watch and will hopefully inspire more people to fight for the show as well. [3/4]

not to mention that vogue posted this on two of their accounts. we've also gained promotion form netflix brasil who encouraged us to keep fighting and promotion from L.A weekly. [4/4]

reason four:
amybeth posts most of the anne with an e content that we see on our tls. everyone else had already said their goodbyes to their characters in november. however, when scrolling through amybeth's tweets, i found this. (below) however, she has yet to make this. [1/3]

however, the thing giving me more hope is the picture of the cast on lucas' insta story. anyone in this fandom knows that lucas hardly ever interacts with anything anne with an e realted, so him posting that must mean it's important in some way.

reason five:
if you take a look at the stats (pictured below), you can clearly see the anne with an e has more interest over time than any other show that cbc has funded. this can also be seen in the number of people who've signed the petition. [1/2]

cbc knows (or should know by now) that if they want to their audience, they're gonna have to renew the show. [2/2]

reason six:
northwood and cbc are finally acknowledging the fact that anne with an e is one of their most popular shows. both companies have acknowledged "how much we (the fans) miss them" in a post this week. [1/3]

normally, i might just think that this is promo for the show, but the fact that both companies posted something like that in the same week is a sign to me. northwood- who hasn't posted about the show since it came out on netflix january thrid- even stated in their caption [2/3]

for fanart fridays, "we see you, we love you." cbc also posted a video of amybeth and lucas which had the caption, "we know you miss them." this was a shock because cbc is infamous for ignoring any fan comments related to awae. if these aren't signs, i don't what are [3/3]

reason seven:
all this is happening at the same time cbc is giving out renewals. many if you saw that the show "kim's convenience" was renewed for two more seasons by cbc just earlier this week. all this evidence stacked on top of what's happening is what gives me the most hope!

keep fighting because i can almost guarantee we're getting our show back soon :)
