Obichukwu/Ebiteinye #ObiEbi:
For some reason, the thought of these two always makes me burst into laughter. I celebrate you. My G! My choco…Ebi mumbling to herself about her love for her choco…I’m laughing again.
They brought out the worst in each other!

Earnest Ebi, after her near panic on how no one wanted her in the beginning, was just too grateful to be picked over Chris that she went from being "one of the girls" to spiteful and nasty neighbor.
Obi is almost a stereotype. Fine boy, toxic, petty, immature and controlling.

Oh, and a yellow belly. I mean, who returns gifts and threatens to take a hike because of a fight? A man-child, that's who.
I'm 100% sure anyone else would have brought out a more positive side of Ebi. Their pairing was quite unfortunate.

She's unstable and easy to influence and if touched by the negative, she gives out ugly.
For Obi, a less pliant and emotional partner would have humbled him.
Strangely, I think these Gs will end up together. Not because of love, but because they seem tailored for each other.

If there’s a second season, I hope the organisers won't just throw random people together. Do personality tests and psychological evaluations during the auditions.
Let some people show up and meet their specs. No speed dating—allow them gravitate towards the persons they want.

Two people may want one person and compete for their attention; this will make for good television.
It was good to see Dakore lose some of her stiffness towards the sixth week. Oluwaseun is no Ebuka, so I cut him a lot of slack. However, they can improve.

Fans of Nigerian reality tv shows baffle me. They’ve redefined the meaning of fans. There are the ones who enjoy the show and quietly vote their faves without drama.
Then there are the stans, who are just plain rabid.

One word against their fave and you, your ancestry and future offspring will be dragged. I wonder if they get paid.
There were Telegam and WhatsApp groups dedicated to voting for the show’s participants, as well as discrediting the opposition.

Fans of one contestant asked me to join a fundraising WhatsApp group where they were raising funds to vote for their fave. In this economy. Una doh o.
Lastly, with the exception of Airtel, I’m very happy I’ll never have to see the other atrocious adverts anymore. That oh-oh one.

This brings me to the end of this thread of work wey nobody send me. For a new show, #UltimaLoveNG did good.
Now, please note that I said what I said. If you don’t like it, I’m in my house....stay in yours and self-isolate. It’s the right thing to do.
Bye.
