Want stay anonymous during your quarantine?

if you don't want to be followed as easily by anyone tracking, here's a few steps you can take. Do realize that none are perfect.

1 - Reset Advertising Identifier - Shown for IPhone and Android

2 - I won't even do this, but delete all Google apps. I get my email for business with Google Suite and I love using Waze.

3 - Apple generally doesn't give data the way Google does. Use iPhone instead of Android.

CRITICAL NOTE:

I sold "digital advertising" for television & radio groups I've worked for. I've been around this a lot.

The ADVERTISING TRACKER appears to be all they are currently using in states to track.

Chrome & all Google APPS DO NOT use the iPhone's ADVERTISING...

...TRACKER the way you might think they do. While they'll "reset" the ads on your iPhone that come from Google, they always know who you are. That's because you have to login to use ANY Google app.

You cannot ever think Google is out unless you don't use them at all.
