I could die from an issue of negligence and COVID would not be responsible for it. However if I were to get infected from COVID then my already reduced immunity would ensure that I die and become one more statistic.

@narendramodi @PMOIndia
I need help of citizen journalists to take my case to the authorities because everyone is turning a blind eye

I stay in a building in Thane - Dosti Imperia. The building has a Sewage Treatment Plant right in the basement of the building

Normally sewage treatment plants are located at a distance from the building. The gases emitted by Sewage treatment plants are poisonous and unfit for human consumption. & hence the effluent ducts are far away or right above a building so that the gases can be diffused safely
I have contacted the owner of the group who built this building but he seems to not be bothered. Yes he promised action but there is no response from him. It's been over two years. I have used the good offices of a common friend. The builder chooses to ignore.
Apparently he would get poorer by a few lacs, although the project would have made him a turnover of nothing less than 1000-1500 crore.

You and I may die but the builder and cockroach will always thrive.
I have made several representations to the prime minister, home minister, health minister, ex CM of Maharashtra, local municipality, politicians in multiple tweets right from 2018 onwards. However there is not a single response from a polity that responds only when it serves them
I have made several complaints in writing with the police, local Municipality but everyone's conscience is dead. My society has not done anything to take my case forward.

Due to the lock down I have to be exposed to this poisonous atmosphere 24x7.
Finally not being able to take it anymore. One more time I have tweeted to the Police, called them on their helpline no.

Two officers came promptly to the flat. After due process I accompanied them to the Police station which is ironically next door.
On being there, as usual, first I was discouraged and after I protested in helplessness they asked me to wait. I was told the Sr.Police Inspector would take my case.

After I was made to wait for 15-20 I was beckoned and told to submit my complaint in duplicate.
Is that all that our civil society has come to. On one hand we fly emergency COVID aid to other countries but on the other, local citizens are subject to notebandi, lockdown and everything. We are told that the PM protects everyone.
But my experience has been the opposite. Mind you I am a tremendous Modi fan - call me a bhakt if you want. And I am admonished by friends for my more than reverant love for the BJP, it's ideology and belief that India is safe under Modi.

But I am saddened by the apathy
One more time I have tweeted the police, PM, Health Minister, Home Minsiter, CM Uddhav Thakre, local municipal commissioner.
Barring the cursory police response and (bad snub) there is very little that I as a countryman can do and except from these politicians - a collective breed of fake janta decals, chiwkidaars. Call them what you like.
Ultimately the builder will go scot free, will bribe the politicians and we will all go back to living like sheep and cattle.

The lotus will bloom trampling on the woes of the people, the Sena will climb to the height of power. But for the common man they will never roar.
For a respectable Indian citizen, migrating out of this country is the only sanity. We are doomed as an Indian, but hailed as a non-resident.

It's the irony of life.
Attaching my proof that I really tried. But the police who are primary guardians of civil society, society committee, the municipality and the government. All failed in their collective responsibility.
@ThaneCityPolice @TMCaTweetAway in the hope that you will wake hp and help me after having failed me for over 2years
