Can't sleep so fuck it here's what my OCs would do if they have planners/journals

Naomi canonically is one, & is REALLY good at making little doodles & has precise knowledge on which gel pens don't smear under highlighters & which highlighters don't smudge sjhdkdbd

She's really good at hand lettering like wow. We STAN a typography queen

She's more of a monthly + weekly planner since all she needs is a checklist, not much detailed daily scheduling

She loves stickers & has cute animal ones! Also keeps track of weather, mood, & water intake

She doodles flowers, mostly wildflowers since they have an irregular shape, but also simple chibis with the :) face & balls for hands skbfksbfkd

Yvette

At first she'll get a monthly + daily planner that's dated, scheduled with a full 24 hours because of the shit she does
Very no-nonsense & businesslike in contrast to Naomi's. The most decoration you'll see would be colour coding, so she'd DEFINITELY own 4-in-1 pens

But once she's hung out with Naomi more & got to get more friends after her father's death because there won't be a shitty mafia dad breathing down a daughter's neck, she'll start indulging in more coloured pens & doodling patterns & tiny vines with leaves

Then she'll rise up to go for the kuretake zig dot markers because just making lil dots of varying sizes is so fun,,, also the deco rush tapes!!! She'll have fun making her own flower patches,,

She won't have the confidence to do Naomi's kind of doodles so she'll settle for something more simple & premade
So she's DEFINITELY gonna splurge on washi tape
Yvette also has a very precise hand so she can cut out good details & make some very interesting washi tape collage art

Background: though he works as a low level lackey for Yvette's rival gang, he loves drawing & wants to create a career out of it somehow

He'd have page flags to indicate where he wrote Important Shit

Okay but if he DID try to dedicate a whole ass book to being his planner he'd go for those 6 ring faux leather binder journals where you can put in refills & rearrange pages however you like since he's chaotic

He thought he'd be more of a weekly planner but turns out after breaking down most of his toxic masculinity he's taken a liking to journaling, so he likes daily planner spreads with lots of space so he can draw & write what he felt
He also keeps track of bdays on monthly spreads!

With Naomi's suggestion he's also taken to doing mood, habit, & exercise tracking
He also writes a Buddhist or Taoist quote every day so he can look back & ground himself with healthy philosophies!

Man since he & Naomi are doodlers they'd definitely talk a lot about stationery stuff,,, because Yvette's just gonna listen like ( *U*) please this lesbian can only handle so much,,,

Oh the 2 would watch art videos together esp how to draw flowers & stuff,, just bffs
