i respect when although we accept on fundementals of a fantasy race or species for example elves, an Ip goes the extra mile to give it texture for example an elf in Lord of the rings is worlds apart from Warhammer, and Warcraft.

Here we can see the Dark Elves, a race filled with spite hate and anguish, they drive alot of gothic aesthetic and do feel almost like vampires, i can almost hear them listening to Rammenstien.

here are the high elves, i love the lore behind their revered fighting classes, Swordmasters and whitelions, alot of ellegance and finesse that isnt dulled by their bravado and savagery, Swordmasters are known to dance in battlefields with their grace, like deliberate cyclones.

its clear my bias is towards the Swordmasters I love the whole theme, and the trials and tribulation they need to exceed to acquire their status, Most of them pilgrimage towards the Tower of Hoeth, god of knowledge where they choose to be warriors or Scholars.
