If I were the government, I'd be hosting pressers with every major ag industry group to come up with a plan if borders start closing to food imports and exports. How prepared are we for that (still remote) possibility? Spring planting is coming.

As today's news re Trump/3M make clear, we absolutely cannot rely on non-Canadian suppliers of PPE. The promises that the federal government is sponsoring local production have so far been vague. What equipment? Which companies? Where? When will it arrive? How much?
It's ok to say that you don't know. It's ok to say your models are just estimates and may change with more information. We're working with limited data right now.
