One thing, and then I promise I'll descend into silliness. I've watched the NHS over the last few weeks dig deep, think inventively, be brave, support one another, plan immaculately, turn projects around at blistering speeds.
But: all our courage, all our skills, specialisms, inventiveness, persistence, camaraderie, foresight, *all* of it will be of no avail if everyone else doesn't do their bit.
Which means: keep washing your hands. Keep buying what you actually need, rather than enough for 6 months. Above all: please, please, stay at home.
I know the weather is getting better. I know it's hard to tell kids they can't go for a swim, or to the park, or see their friends, or their grandparents.
This virus doesn't care, doesn't discriminate. It won't think 'Well, I'll let them off, the sunshine was glorious tbf'.
As hard as it is, as it will be, the alternative is unthinkably harder: of losing someone *you* love for the sake of a sunny day. So please, do the NHS, do yourselves a favour and stay home. So we can all enjoy the summer next year <ends>
