Deepak Chopra offered these suggestions to minimize anxiety and "sympathetic overdrive," which is what our bodies are currently functioning through, given the collective grief.

1. 8 hours of sleep every night.
2. Meditation and stress management (decreases inflammation).
3. Movement (exercise, 5-10,000 steps/day, yoga)
4. Deep breathing breaks to prevent inflammatory storms (tai chi, chi gong, any martial arts that integrate mind and body, etc)
5. Healthy emotions, love and kindness, joy (deactivates the sympathetic nervous system)
6. Clean diet - preferably without meat (or at least meat that is raised in a healthy environment), plant-based diet is best for microbiome.
7. Contact with nature (if possible) even just touching a tree, walking barefoot on the Earth.
These may sound like some "we are one" but they're all backed by scientific evidence that they help to regulate the body back to normal responses. The main stressor right now is one's self-- because we're all being triggered by the news which causes the body to go into overdrive.
For someone like me who already has an overactive immune system, keeping balance is key. I learned this many years ago which is why I've been meditating every single day for at least one hour.
That overreaction can go into overdrive and be your determining factor once sick. Keeping these in order can minimize the effects of the virus. Keeping a sound mind, body and mental.

Beware of what you're telling yourself.
Beware of what you're feeding yourself.
All of it.
