whoa a half-asian half-black person in subtle mixed traits was talking about how she feels really unwelcome in the black community (getting blocked by monoracial black ppl bc she is biracial) and then someone accused her of anti-blackness

one of the most common things I see with mixed people is the invalidation of whatever race we identify with and the othering from monoracial people and it’s just so sad

and then people saying that we can’t talk about issues surrounding a race we literally are because we’re somehow “less” because we’re multiracial
