BI AND PAN PEOPLE MUST STICK TOGETHER. Why? Because BOTH of these sexualities and communities are treated as outsiders & erased, and mocked, and treated badly by both within the LGBTQ+ community and by hets......

1. if you are bi or you are pan, treat the other with respect! Even if YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THE DISTINCTION. It doesn’t matter! Listen up: you can respect something without fully understanding it

2. I identify as bi. However, I honestly mostly do so just because I feel more comfortable with my understanding of its definition, but am genuinely not sure if I am actually bi or pan! And that’s ok! A big misconception is that bisexual is transphobic. NOPE. This is why...

3. ... because bi has not for many many years meant you like ” either men or women”. This is only how a heteronormative society can understand and explain it it means 2+ genders. I identify as bi and would absolutely date a non binary or a trans person!!!!!

4. Being bi and being transphobic don’t go together. Being bi/pan and cheating don’t go together. WHAT DOES GO TOGETHER? Biphobia, panphobia, and transphobia. So, it is the bi,pan,trans, and non binary communities that must love, support and protect one another against this bs

5. I’m not even going to try and discuss the differences or definitions between bi/pan in this thread.

Why? Because I literally shouldn’t have to for people to respect others identity.

I don’t understand astrophysics, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
